Each year, BCHE hosts a special event just for our Middle School age members! The structure and design of this event changes from year to year. As an example, see the details of LAST year's event below. Members, watch for details about the 2018 event--coming soon!
2017 Middle School Banquet
March 31st ~ 6:00pm
This annual event is hosted especially for our members of middle school age! Join us for an evening of delicious food and hidden clues, at Abilene's historic Swenson House!
Registration is required by March 21st.
This event is for current members of BCHE, ages 11-14. Remember that a student who is at the top limit of the age range for Middle School Banquet, age 14, may attend Middle School Banquet OR High School Prom, but not both in the same year.
Students should arrive from 5:45pm to 6:00pm. We ask that parents who have stopped in to take photos please finish by 6:00pm, so that we can proceed with the evening in a timely manner. Guests will be seated at 6:15pm.
Parents, please pick up students by 8:30pm. Those wishing to take photos after the event may arrive any time after 8:00pm.
There may be volunteer opportunities for a few parents--clean up crew (after the event), event gift prep (week before the event), etc. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would be willing to help.
Dress for the event is semi-formal, and is part of the fun!
