Monday Co-Op Teacher Application Information

We LOVE our Monday Co-Op Teachers!

Teachers are paid between $20 and $35 per teaching hour, depending on a number of factors, including class age and amount of weekly prep time.

Teachers do NOT get free tuition--for tax purposes, we stick to one type of compensation (payment), and teachers can use it to pay for classes for their own kids, or for whatever.

Teachers agree to hold students accountable for honoring BCHE policies, and agree to honor those policies themselves.

Teachers agree to teach/discuss nothing that is contrary to the BCHE Statement of Faith, and to always put honoring God over honoring the world, in all aspects of their interaction with Co-Op families.

Teachers help build the Co-Op community by cheering students in all their activities and attending events such as recitals, parties, etc.

Teachers may submit their own class preferences, or opt to teach a class that is on our priority list for a given year, based on member needs.

Teachers agree to a background check, at BCHE expense.
