We're always looking for people who will be a blessing to our families--we know you'll also be blessed by joining our team!

All teachers, coaches, and staff agree to honor our Statement of Faith, honor biblically traditional beliefs regarding marriage/sexuality/gender, and agree to operate under the guidelines that pertain to specific activities and programs.

BCHE Academy Program: We are always looking for teachers who will fit well into our faith-based Academy program! Classes are offered for Beginning Learners (ages 4-5), Young Elementary (K-2), Older Elementary (3-5), Middle School (6-8), High School (9-12), and Upper High School (grades 11-12). Academy staff positions include Study Hall monitors, Lunchroom/Playground monitors, and General Assistants, and Childcare. Teachers are paid $20-$35/classroom hour, depending on class level and commitment.

Coaches/General Teachers: Are you experienced in sports and physical education? We're always on the look out for energetic and skilled Sports Ed coach (P.E.), Volleyball coach,  Robotics Team Coach/Teacher, etc. There may also be a need for Teachers outside of the Academy program, for other classes/programs that meet on different days of the week, for shorter periods of time. Coaches/General Teachers are paid $15-$35/instruction hour, depending on program level, commitment, and experience/training.

Staff: BCHE is run by a handful of staff, and sometimes there is availability for another set of hands! This is usually a very part-time position, and responsibilities are shared amongst all staff. We organize events, monitor the site, schedule classes, provide admin support at the office, provide teacher/coach support, and help at BCHE functions. Staff always actively serve as cheerleaders for BCHE, and for homeschooling, in general!

Monday Co-Op Teachers/Staff

  • do not need to be BCHE members unless they have homeschooled kids who want to participate in classes/activities
  • must pass a background check
  • may teach just one, or several classes, based on preference and availability
  • paid per teaching hour, on the first Friday of each month
  • get first dibs on class registration
  • must cheerfully uphold all BCHE policies and Co-Op policies
  • must be a cheerleader for homeschooling in general, and for BCHE in particular

Coaches/Other Teachers

     (not part of Monday Co-Op program)

  • do not need to be BCHE members unless they have homeschooled kids who want to participate in classes/activities
  • must pass a background check
  • may teach just one, or several classes, based on preference and availability
  • paid per coaching hour, on the first Friday of each month
  • get first dibs on Monday Co-Op class registration
  • must cheerfully uphold all BCHE policies and Sports Ed (or other sport/activity) policies
  • must be a cheerleader for homeschooling in general, and for BCHE in particular

Admin Staff

  • homeschool parent or homeschool grad
  • must be a BCHE member and a good fit with current staff
  • must pass a background check
  • part-time hours only
  • get first dibs on class registration
  • must cheerfully uphold all BCHE policies and Co-Op policies
  • must be a cheerleader for homeschooling in general, and for BCHE in particular
  • may be responsible for keeping track of inventory, providing admin support at the office, and being present for some scheduled activities held at BCHE building, and be present at important BCHE functions
