Registration

  • Adult tickets (ages 19+) are $13.50.
    Child tickets (ages 3-18) are $11.50.
    Ages 0-2 are free.
    A $5.00 per ticket late fee will be added after October 1, 2017. Registration for the event closes on October 8, 2017.

Abilene Homeschool Days is for all ages. Each participating venue is excitedly preparing special activities for you to enjoy during your visit. Your Abilene Homeschool Day Pass gives you access to each location and fun that awaits!

Choose to visit all the venues, or just some...stay one day, or TWO...just plan to be in Abilene on Abilene Homeschool Days 2017!

Online registration ends October 10, 2017. Individual tickets may be purchased on-site at participating locations after that date.

Event List

Abilene Zoo:

October 12 & 13 - 10:00am-3:00pm

Use your Abilene Homeschool Day Pass for entry to the Abilene Zoo, where Zoo Educators will have Science Exploration Stations set up in the classrooms. Enjoy animal encounters & keeper chats! Included with Abilene Homeschool Day pass.

Frontier Texas:

October 12 & 13 - 9:00am-6:00pm

Frontier Texas will provide guided activities from 10:00am-2:00pm; activities include museum learning tours, storybook readings, craft activities, and custom lesson worksheets for various ages. Included with Abilene Homeschool Day pass.

Grace Museum:

October 12 & 13 - 10:00am-5:00pm

Join us at the Grace for gallery tours and art activities; don't miss the children's museum! Included with Abilene Homeschool Day pass.

12th Armored Division Museum:

October 12 & 13 - 10:00am-5:00pm

Visit the 12th Armored Division Museum to view some truly awesome WW2 memorabilia, and for Holocaust education. Included with Abilene Homeschool Day pass.

Abilene Public Library:

October 12 - 1:00pm-4:00pm

Drop in the Abilene Public Library for storybook readings for all ages. Included with Abilene Homeschool Day pass.

Abilene State Park:

October 13 & 14 - All Day

Bring the whole family to participate in specially organized geocaching activities at lovely Abilene State Park. Included with Abilene Homeschool Day pass.

Storybook Saturday Event

  • Saturday, October 14th, at Adamson-Spalding Storybook Garden

Details:

Each attendee (except children under age three) must have their own Pass, which is good for entrance to each venue ONE time during Abilene Homeschool Days weekend. Passes unredeemed on October 12-13 are valid for one-time entrance to participating locations through October 15 (some up to 30 days after the event), but special Abilene Homeschool Days activities at venues are only available on Abilene Homeschool Days weekend.

All students age 13 and below must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Adult Pass: $13.50

Child Pass: $11.50
